Meet David Radford

David Radford, Regina, 2020, Acrylic

David Radford begin painting as a means to cope with extreme sadness. His therapist suggested trying some form of creative expression through visual media. A year later, Mind Therapy Art was created. Radford grew up in the Midwest, but currently resides in Georgia. Radford paints custom acrylic Afrocentric paintings of women from all walks of life. His bold, colorful, abstract style was born out life experiences and influenced by living in various regions in the US. The economic, sexual, and religious diversity can be seen in the faceless figures in Radford’s eclectic pieces.

Mind Therapy Art is a body of work by artist, David Radford, that focuses on women! Through his Mind Therapy Art collection Radford seeks to portray women in a snapshot of life! These original Afrocentric acrylic paintings conceptually depict women during a moment of their life. Radford seeks to create imagery that references life lessons that women have championed!
